Telepresenter™ MD-1 Media Decoder/Player
The Telepresenter™ MD-1 is a high-performance media player designed to compliment the Telepresenter M3 Series 2 encoder by decoding and playing its streams effortlessly and without latency. The MD-1 receives an M3 stream, decodes it, and sends it to an attached widescreen monitor or large projector. It replaces the PC running a software media player and provides the following benefits:

The MD-1 can be managed centrally though an AMX or Crestron controller, the TMS Managament applet, or through a simple Web interface, allowing you to direct streams from multiple encoders to multiple decoders either through Multicast addressing or using the N-Way Server. |

While software media players tend to have significant latencies introduced by the liberal use of buffering, the MD-1 has sub-second latencies, meaning that your streams are played in perfect synchronization to the source. |
